Rob Helm has been working with my son for over two years now.  When he started, my son could barely catch a ball, let alone dribble or shoot.  I had tried several times to teach my son the concepts of Basketball with no success.  When I heard about Rob and LotG, I thought it was worth a shot.  My son, now understands all of the concepts of the Game, can dribble, take shots, catch and pass the ball and enjoy the Game.  

None of this would have been possible without Rob's patience and perseverance.  I would highly recommend Rob Helm/LotG to anyone.

My son has been part of the LotG program with Rob Helm for over eight years.  In that time his fundamental and game related skills have improved immeasurably...  

As a physical educator I am constantly impressed with Rob's ability to "package" the information and instruction of his sessions in age appropriate and effective methods... When training one player his attention to the details of that individual player's ability level and learning style is laser-like.  When it comes to group training sessions, his motivating and energetic style holds the player's attention and never leaves any player in idle time.  As a result, I have never seen him have to break a session for behavior correction.  He commands respect for himself, each other and the court.  Rob's regular pursuit of continuing education, clinics, seminars, etc, demonstrates his professional commitment to his career.

As a parent, to say that the influence of Rob's character has been a blessing would be an understatement.  he effectively uses the vehicle of Basketball to guide his players in the development of their own character.  Rob regularly talks about the importance of school, positive participation in Family, caring about self presentation, self respect and more.  He is a wonderful role model to my son who has been luckily included  in what Rob refers to as the "LotG Family"

As the father of 2 girls that enjoy the Game of Basketball I wanted to take the "extra step" and have someone work with them on the Game's basic fundementals.  I had witnessed Rob Helm with LotG working with other players and was favorably impressed.

My girls began working with the LotG program in December, 2009 and their skill level has improved immensely!  Both girls have become comfortable with the ball and have grown as players tremendously in a matter of months... and show it on the court during games!

I plan on extending our LotG training sessions as both girl's enjoy Rob as a trainer and teacher.
