BASKETBALL SPECIFIC TRAINING

In either a one-on-one or group environment LotG works to build a passion and appreciation of the Game of Basketball through the introduction, instruction and practice of Basic Basketball FUNdamentals...  leading to improvement, confidence and enjoyment ( I.C.E.).  Developing a true Love of the Game.

 

Basketball is a Game of Rhythm and Motion.  Our workouts include an abundance of both.  Along with specific skill work, court awareness and knowledge of the Game - fitness, strength and conditioning are addressed.  Workouts average 60 minutes in length with 10-15 minutes of flexibility, balance training and warm-up beginning each workout.

 

LotG workouts are based on Progression, the same principle employed by high level accomplished athletes. Basic skills (individually appropiate) are taught, practiced and reviewed creating a solid base.  From that base workouts/skill developments began to progress.

Programs can be designed for individuals, small groups or teams.

 

We believe our youngest player should be at least 8 years old whilst our oldest, younger than 100.
